I’m Katharine Nanke — a creative strategist, designer, and storyteller.

I founded Momatrix as both a personal brand and an artistic rebellion. A space where softness is power, storytelling is sacred, and design becomes a portal for transformation.

I hold a B.S. in Strategic Communication with a focus on Media Design from the University of Colorado Boulder, where I began shaping brands, campaigns, and digital concepts rooted in emotion, culture, and intuition. Since then, I’ve built work that spans visual identity, content creation, UX/UI mockups, and creative direction.

My aesthetic leans delicate, intentional, and layered: drawing influence from modern femininity, sacred geometry, French editorial minimalism, and the subconscious. I’m fascinated by the interplay between escapism and clarity… between what’s real and what we design to be.

Momatrix is a reflection of that: part lifestyle studio, part living journal, part creative ecosystem. Through it, I explore branding, visual storytelling, and the softer edges of marketing; the ones grounded in feeling, not force.

This site is where I share selected design work, passion projects, and soon, my blog, where I’ll write about beauty (internal and external), motherhood, ideas, and personal transformation. Some of what I’m building is polished. Some of it’s raw. But all of it’s mine.

I’m currently open to creative collaborations, brand-aligned roles, and freelance work that values emotion, design, and real connection.
